Steampunk angel watercolour tutorial

This is the first this I created a video like this. Since I cannot AND talk AND concentrate on my painting at the same time, I added a voice over of the process later on. I apologize for my funny voice and accent =_=; some people asked me to give a tutorial before...and now you can kinda hear why I was hesitating to do so..but I hope you will like it nonetheless You can purchase the original at my etsy shop: www.etsy.com Or visit my website at: www.dreamchasergallery.com to see more fo my artwork

@StudioVibe i definately find painting and drawing with traditional media more relaxing than digital :)

Beautiful. Ive been working with colored pencil so I jist ordered my first set of water colors. I ordered a koi pallett and I also ordered prismacolor brand water color pencils. I absolutely cant wait to mix the mediums. C: Drawing and coloring is so soothing I never realise the time flying by.

actually you add complimentary colors to the actual surface in the shadow which has its origin in traditional art a couple of hundreds of years ago ^^

    just saying :3

@bluemonika Oh, if that is the case there are certain classes or tutorials on how to pronounce english a certain way. I think that would help a lot, I know people who have taken those and it helped them tremendously. I am still curious to hear dutch accent though but I have never heard it before. I imagine it will be very similar to german accent?

  7. bluemonika says:

@jualkyn i do not really like the dutch accent so i try to cover it up. i still need to practise more though but i also think people can understand better what i am saying if i can talk english with a more brittish or just american accent :P but that's just a silly quirk of mine.

  8. jualkyn says:

@bluemonika Oh how come you try to have a british accent? Why not keep your original accent? heh

  9. bluemonika says:

@jualkyn I am a Dutch girl who tries to have a brittish accent but fails horribly at it wich is why i have a weird accent :P

  10. jualkyn says:

you have an intresting accent. I can't quite place it. I thought it was british but I am not sure? may i ask where you are from?

BRAVO! This is a fantastic artwork and your explanations are great! (Don't worry about doing it in voiceover even for a second, because it's perfect.) We posted your video on our Sci-Fi Almanac network to teach our illustrators your tips-n-tricks. Godspeed!
